Chicago Allied Printing Trades Council records, 1911-1979.

Minutes, case files, council judgments, correspondence, and other files of the Chicago Allied Printing Trades Council. The collection, circa 1922-1979, also contains minutes of the label committee, detailed investigations of complaints that the union label (or "bug") was used illegitimately by some print shops. Files from the 1960s-1970s contain correspondence by Council officials, union leaders, public officials, and business leaders. The collection also contains orders for use of the union label, 1963-1968. Microfilm: Reel 1.
